The
Tails and Trails Walk is September, 2010
HATS holds its annual Tails and Trails Walk every September. It is a fun
family-oriented benefit for the Humane Animal Treatment Society, held at
Millpond and
Island Parks in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Participants collect pledges
ahead of time from friends, family, acquaintances and business
associates. Those earning the most pledges will receive great prizes at
the event. Our pledge forms are available at many public offices and
businesses around the Mt. Pleasant area, and are typically available 3
weeks prior to the walk itself. You may also pick up a pledge form at
the Shelter!
Participants in the walk are treated to delicious foods and beverages,
and will have
an opportunity to take part in animal-oriented fun competitions, and see
special demonstrations and entertainment, too. Bring your children, and
your dogs, and spend an afternoon with other animal lovers enjoying our
lovely Mt. Pleasant parks, and helping earn donations for homeless
companion animals!
