When Sassy's owner had to be hospitalized, where was this 10-month-old mother going to raise her nine little nuggets?
That's when we sprang into action! The entire family came to the shelter briefly for their intake exams. Each pup was certified as absolutely adorable, and most importantly, healthy! Mom was given medications for some minor infections, and then they left for their foster home.
Within the same week, a new stray cat gave birth to seven precious kittens! Mochi was found hiding in a truck during a recent snowstorm, trying to find some warmth. She was a little bowling ball when she arrived and we knew her babies would arrive any day.
Both families stayed cozy and safe in loving foster homes until they were ready to be adopted. Each mom and their babies received nutritious food, vaccines, and spay or neuter surgery to end this cycle!
We are so happy to report that Sassy, Mochi, and their babies are happy, healthy and enjoying life in their forever homes!
