As we reflect on the successes of the past year, we are filled with gratitude for our incredible community of supporters, volunteers, and adopters who have made a profound difference in the lives of animals in Mid-Michigan. Thanks to your unwavering commitment, we are proud to report that animals continued to have access to safe shelter and lifesaving veterinary services in 2024!

Highlights from 2024:

- No-Kill Status Maintained: We are thrilled to share that we maintained our no-kill status this year, achieving an impressive 95% overall save rate! This remarkable achievement means that thousands of animals received the second chance at life they deserve.

- Unprecedented Adoptions: We saw a phenomenal increase in adoptions this year, with 67 more furry friends finding their forever homes compared to 2023. This marks the highest number of adoptions we have ever recorded, and it’s all thanks to you—our compassionate community.

- Lifesaving Surgeries: Our clinic worked tirelessly, completing over **1,820 spay/neuter surgeries at a reduced or free rate**. These vital services not only help control the pet population but also contribute to the overall health and well-being of pets in our care.

- Incredible Volunteer Support: Our dedicated volunteers logged an amazing *2,497 hours* this year! Their spirit, hard work, and love for animals allowed us to provide even more services and care to our shelter residents.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who supports our mission. This year was a testament to what we can accomplish together when we unite for a common cause.
