We are in the midst of another busy kitten season with 113 little ones entering our facility within the last several months! Our goal is to send these kittens right back out into loving foster homes where they remain safe and healthy while receiving all their vaccines. Unfortunately, even under the best cleaning and vaccination protocols, they remain susceptible to illness at the shelter and we are currently treating 22 precious kittens for upper respiratory infections.
New cats & kittens with medical issues and injuries arrive weekly and we are doing everything we can to save them all! Our wonderful Dr. Gruca performed three long surgeries recently for Vito, Izzy, and Peavey, who all arrived with leg injuries that required amputation to save them from a life of pain.
