Our sweet George arrived as a stray with an injury to one of his rear legs. After an exam, we learned his hip was out of socket and he had an old fracture that didn't heal properly, which was causing him pain. George deserved to live a happy, pain free life, so the best course of action was amputation of the leg.
Generous support from community members like YOU allowed George to receive the surgery he needed! He has adjusted well to life as a tripod and was recently adopted to a wonderful home!
