COVID-19 has impacted every one of us, and the work at The Humane Animal Treatment Society is no exception. The daily changing headlines and uncertainty are difficult to process, but one thing is for certain...our animals still rely on our help. We are essential, we are here 365 days a year, we are still caring for the homeless pets of our community.
But we can't keep doing this without you. Our resources are not indefinite, and we need your support if you're able to give any amount during these tough times. Where weeks ago we had 19 staff members, today we have 6. We have suspended all spay/neuter surgeries, called off volunteers, and have observed an enormous decrease in donations including postponing our biggest fundraiser Tails and Top HATS.
